Where the time goes

  1. Grating is the slow part

    Hand grating pounds of green bananas, yautía and yuca can take hours before the filling even starts.

  2. A demonstrated big batch

    In our demonstration, roughly 25 lb of green bananas plus 3 lb of yautía, 1 lb of calabaza and two plantains were grated in about 5 minutes. A demonstrated example, not a guarantee: results vary with technique, ingredients and batch size.

  3. Cleanup between batches

    The removable bowl, grating blade and hopper are dishwasher-safe. Wipe down the motor base; do not immerse it.

For big home batches and small-batch selling

Grandma Ann’s is built for large-batch home food preparation, and many customers also use it for small-batch commercial preparation. It isn’t designed for continuous industrial production.
